We've already heard reports regarding the release of a 7 Series device hitting shelves in September, so this latest intel from LG isn't all that surprising. Though, it could be considered a major breakthrough in what we'd like to call, you know, confirmation. Well, as much as another rumor can be a confirmation, anyway.
So, as the story goes for today, it seems that LG is planning on releasing a 7 Series device in September. It's coming from Engadget, who were speaking with LG "people", and the September title kept getting thrown about all willy-nilly like. Yes, it's still just a rumor, but considering HTC and LG were named specifically in that whole "September" rumor before, this just works to substantiate those remarks. LG also mentioned November, which falls right in the midst of the "holiday season" that Microsoft announced at Mobile World Congress. While September would be great (because we wouldn't have to wait as long), it seems that'd be a bit early. October though, that certainly has a holiday in there somewhere, and is definitely time of a "season." So, let's all cross our fingers, yeah? [via SlashGear] |

I'm not a fan of hardware keyboards, but I have to admit that the LG "Panther" does indeed pique my interest.

Yeah for sure. The Panther is by far my favorite of all the WP 7 phones. Though i did see somewhere (can't find link) that it is just a gutted and repackaged older super texter... Disappointing that its not 100% new, but this will do nicely.
I really can't wait for those 1.5ghz dual-core, Qualcomm chips to hit the Market!
